Cornwall 2014
Yesterday we got home from our week camping holiday on the beautiful north coast of Cornwall. We joined most of Eddy's family for a week together, basking in the sunshine and intermittent showers and spending some quality time together on the beach. It was lovely to be able to take Noah on his first proper camping trip and to spend time as a family doing something a bit different to normal. Just having Eddy all to ourselves was such a treat as he is such a busy bee in his work life.
We spent most of our week enjoying Watergate Bay and Polzeath beaches which offered us some choice surf/ bodyboarding sessions and some lovely local shops to explore. During the rain showers at Polzeath we hung out at the Tube Station Cafe-a brilliant family oriented cafe/ chill out zone which supplied us with some fantastic hot chocolates and delicious treats! Noah particularly enjoyed delving into their enormous toy chest!
As the weather was so unpredictable: sunny one moment and raining the next, we ended up not having our camera on us very much and so I came away slightly wishing I had more photos to show you! But nonetheless, I have picked out a few which summarise for me what was a lovely week spent with family relaxing and enjoying fun times together.
Here are some photos of our holiday I thought you might enjoy. Hopefully I will have more soon as I need to steal some from Noah's Grandma first!
Grandpa and Uncle Fred about to hit some waves!
Trying on Auntie Lil's sunnies
Enjoying some dinner in Grandma's caravan
A bit of a blustery day in the sea!
As I said, hopefully I shall have some more and better photos soon! But for now, there is a little taste of our Cornish adventure!
Love Bunty
