Family getaway: Part 1

Hello everyone! As you may have noticed, I have been absent from the blogging scene this week as I have been enjoying a family getaway with my boys. We went to Center Parcs for a mid-week break and had a wonderful time filled with cycling, woodland walks, swimming, cosying up by our log fire and sipping on plenty of hot chocolate! Even though the weather was cold and wet, it somehow added to the atmosphere and made for a really cosy time in our little lodge where we were staying.
Both Noah and Eddy loved having all day to play with each other and engage in all the wrestling matches and general 'boyish fun' they like to get up to. I think Noah really enjoyed himself too.
We were staying in a lodge that had these floor to ceiling windows which looked straight out into the forest. Everyday there would be deer and squirrels coming right up to our window which had Noah on lookout constantly. He loved spotting the animals and alerting mum and dad to his discoveries. It was really cool and so nice to be away from our usual routine and work scene.
I thought you might like to see some of our photos from our week. We have loads so i'll show some more in another post...
