aden and anais burpy bibs

I think every mother knows the instant regret of popping their baby over their shoulder and for a split second quite forgetting to put a burp cloth underneath. That's the moment when the inevitable happens- The baby spits up all over you!

Whether you are dressed to the nines and ready to go out, or you are just in a comfy teeshirt and jeans, babies aren't fussy about their aims or timings for that matter and, as I have come to learn, they tend to be quite unpredictable in this department!

With this said, I always rely on burp cloths to help insure I still resemble a human being at the end of the day. I could tell you some brilliant stories about not using burp cloths and ending up splattered just about everywhere by lunchtime...but you might not appreciate that, especially if you're reading this on your coffee break!

Since Jonah was born, I have absolutely loved using the Aden and Anais muslin blankets. For everything from burping him to swaddling him, I find them so versatile and the patterns are just gorgeous.
I was lucky enough to be gifted these burpy bibs by Aden and Anais and I chose the vintage circus theme to try. Made from 100% cotton muslin, these bibs are so soft and gentle on baby skin, which is one of the things I love about them most.

The design is versatile as it can be used in the traditional burp position of being placed over my shoulder or, for weaning babies you can clip them around their necks to make a comfortable bib- perfect for meals sitting upright!
The quality of the muslin is impressive as i've found it very quickly and efficiently soaks up liquid spills. This is so  handy when trying to minimise mess, especially when we are out of the house.
My only regret is that I find these are just to too lovely and fresh to be ruined by my toddler's attempts at 'food art' just yet!

I have come to really love Aden and Anais products. They are designed with the needs of mothers and babies in mind and they are versatile and practical for the home.
As Jonah is just getting to the stage where bright colours really fascinate him- I've already caught him staring in wonder at the cute designs on these burpy bibs!

These are such a cute and fun way to keep baby spills under control. With a wide range of patterns and colours to choose from, if you're anything like me, you'll be spoilt for choice!

I hope you're all having a lovely day!
