Bank Holiday & Change Afoot
I think we are all ready for a long weekend and the coming Bank Holiday is going to oh-so-welcome! We are actually heading down to Brighton to go to Big Church Day Out which is a Christian music festival with all the summer vibes- we look forward to it so much every year and the kids have such a blast- can't wait!
With Bank Holiday around the corner, I am also thinking (and slightly panicking internally) about how close we are to Sept 17 where we will become 'school run parents'. I have such mixed feelings about Noah beginning school and the family dynamics shifting with the onset of term time routines- ahh!
I'll save that anxiety rant for another post but I think to summarise this week, it definitely feels like we are having reality check after reality check. So much is happening at the moment and it feels like change is once more afoot. Aside from making plans, having aspirations and dreams and chasing hard after the ones that are becoming real possibilities, we're conscious of trying to find space in the chaos to be still and to quieten. I want to savour this time with the boys before Noah heads off to school in September. I want to take so many photos of this time in our lives and to create long lasting memories of our little family here and now, before we all 'grow up' that little bit more.
Have you any fun plans for the weekend? It looks like it's going to be a warm one!
